Yes I agree that would be ludicrous. And I don't think we'd be making bank.

But it would be nice to enable data binding of  allow a data binding 
layer to interpret elements as *either* a name-value (multi-)map *or* a 
sequence.  That kind of logic shouldn't be embedded in the parser/data 
interchange format.  Primitive types, OK.  Larger structures seem to me 
to go beyond "micro".
