I am wondering whether the final XSLT 3.0 Recommendation will contain
its own chapter for Maps, or whether it will treat maps as a known,
defined in XPath 3.1.

Obviously, the latter is better, but all depends on when each of these
two will become a Recommendation.  In terms of waiting, what would
this mean for us -- the mortal XSLT developers?

Could someone comment on this, please?
