David, When I try to use <xsl:output doctype-public> my xml editor
warns me that if I don't have a system identifier that the public
doctype will be ignored. Can you explain this?
It's helpful if you show _exactly_ what you have as
<xsl:output doctype-public>
isn't well formed XML so would. not have got as far as running xslt or
generating any output.
You need something like
<xsl:output doctype-system="something.dtd"/>
