I did end up installing Saxon 8.3. And, unlike with Saxon 8.2, I got
the following error:
XT1490: Cannot write more than one result to the same URI
I ended up taking your suggestion and used the position() function and
it worked beautifully to solve my problem!!! (I'm buying your book
today)
As a newbie, I appreciate being so warmly welcomed to your list and am
thankful for the assistance.
