Subject: String formatting

Hi,
 I have a string in the form=20
yyyy-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.SSS-HH:mm  but want to translate to=20
yyyy-MM-DDThh:mm:ss-HH:mm  removing the SSS.

How can i do that.
