Subject: Embedding xsl in xml and embedding javascript in xsl

Is there any possibility to embedd a xsl into an xml and a javascript into a xsl.
I am using the namespace xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-xsl" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40 in the xsl.
There is no possibillity to use a newer namespace, because the xml should be shown in IE 5.
