Dear Stefano,
If you want to get more information about the inheritance,
about the purpose of DTD from XSL WD e t.c. - I suggest
you to read the 'Thread' document and comments to
RenderX DTD, both published at http://www.renderx.com/
( FO Validator ). The 'Thread' document is composed
from the letters published here some time ago and this
particular question has been discussed already.
I hope there would be FAQ for FOs. If there is somebody
keeping FAQ for FOs or planning to do it - could you,
please, write me?
Rgds.Paul.
