Since ATOM was intended as a cleaned up replacement for RSS why say learn RSS before ATOM. As with xpath1->2 historically RSS came first but if the intention is to learn ATOM, learning RSS first doesn't really help. Of course it's perfectly reasonable to want to do both, but then why not show them as siblings in the tree rather than rss then atom? schematron has no dependency on XSD so why have that after there? It does have a dependency on xpath. David
