Certainly, some percentage of those in thralldom will get dragged along
(err) by the horns.  But I'm more optimistic, and I don't think the CxO
office is going to easily let their developers go whole-hog back down the
"fat client" chute.  Shrink-wrap software that can carry its own baggage
won't be limited; they'll just depend on making sure all their customers
have upgraded with enough silage so that their fat clients have a place to
sit.

Enough analogies. :)

Sell your stock.  Longhorn is going to seriously bring down the value
of that little software company in the US northwest.
