Dunno, Tim.  Seemed like it was worth finding out if your 7-year
opinions of the Web technologies of 1995 still had much to do with your
decision-making process today.

We seem caught this week on the same set of problems I encountered
reading your article in the first place: you seem to think that the
HTML-based Web is inferior, and I seem to think that it does pretty
well.

I seem to remember putting a lot of effort into XLink - an
implementation, a lot of presentations, a panel discussion at Software
Development, etc.  I've definitely changed my opinion, having concluded
it was wrong.
