Raman,

I do not know your application but there may be more to just different
spacing while comparing the 2 XML documents for "same stuff".

1. How about if the elements in same hierarchy are in different order (DTD
wise correct)?
2. How about if line item instances are in different order?
etc.

The point being that the 2 documents may "look" very different inspite of
being "syntactically" correct, and "semantically" same stuff.

Just a thought.

Thanks,

Ajay

Subject: Comparing 2 xml documents

Hello,

I am in the need of comparing 2 xml documents to see whether both of the
documents represents the same stuff. The spacing may be different in the
documents. Are there are any libraries available for comparison?

Thanks for your help.
