I've begun to work on a RDDLClassLoader for java. see:

This extends java.net.URLClassLoader and in the constructor reads a RDDL
directory to get a list of java 'classpath' URLs having a specified purpose
e.g. "xslt-extension"

ideas, help, testing, etc are welcome.
