I agree completely.  I suggested a process be proposed, 
not a schedule.  What you suggest sounds like a good 
start.  I request, respectfully, the requirements.

Dang, Rick, you may have to chair a committee. :-)
Or better... treat it like SAX and RDDL, and 
get a requirements statement from XML-Dev.

Perhaps all we need to standardize at the moment are (a couple of) useful
frameworks so that experimental and alternativc and niche and non-W3C
languages start life integrated into the general schema of things and not
orphaned.
