Response time seems to be less than an hour. That's better.
I've now done all of the obvious things, so I'm at a bit of a
loss about what to do next. I'd like to get the response time
down to a few minutes.
The configuration is now majordomo 1.94.5 + bulk_mailer +
sendmail 8.8.8 on a sparc box of some type running Solaris 7.
Changing MTAs is a possibility, changing list servers is a
possibility, upgrading sendmail is a possibility, upgrading the
hardware is a possibility, and changing ISPs is a possibility.
Thoughts?

P.S. I can't seem to find any MHonArc configuration that will
build a nice monthly-indexed archive of the whole list. Am I
missing something? Is there a better tool than MHonArc?
