I'm sending this message for three reasons:

1. To note that all future list-related messages will have a subject
   that contains the string "List server". This is for those of you
   who've asked for some way to filter out my babbling about the list :-)

2. To test the latency. This morning it looks like the number of sendmail
   connections has gone *way* down. I hope this means bulk_mailer is doing
   its job.

3. To warn that I'll be suspending mail for a short period this afternoon
   while I patch up the majordomo config and upgrade to a newer version.
   I don't expect anyone to even notice this, but of course, if I mangle
   something, it could take me longer than I anticipate to get things
   working.
