Don't know about implementations, but there is an IETF/W3C group [1] working
on XML Signatures. I believe the draft [2] is in Last Call.

| Subject: XML, XSL and X.509 Certificates?
|
|
| Does anyone know of any implementation/use of signing technology for
| eg XSL stylesheets. I am presuming that XSL is "software", in
| as much as it can capture algorithmic implementation of data
| transformations.
|
| I am looking for application of eg the Verisign "software signing"
| certificates, for eg Microsoft authenticode:
|
| "Software Developer ID allows software
| publishers to digitally sign 32-bit .exe (PE files), .cab, .ocx
| and .class files.
| Code signing assures customers of the true source of the software
| they are
| downloading, and of its integrity"
|
| or the equivalent Netscape:
|
| "Software Developer ID allows software
| publishers to digitally sign applets or other Java code,
| JavaScript scripts, plug-ins, or any kind of file"
|
| Object signing is of course mature, but has it been applied to eg XSL?
