Okay, I guess that's clear enough: XML-Schema will stand as is. Only time will tell, with the first test being whether or not tool vendors can swallow the whole hog. I don't expect many people will be directly writing (or reading) schemas in the near future, so maybe the complexity won't matter much in the end. I still remain concerned about the schema design being conceptually difficult, something even a good tool will have a hard time masking. But what's done it done. Hmmm...
