Notation Type Properties in XML Schemas

Notation types have the properties described in Table 70. See Defining Notations for more information.

Table 70. Notation Type Properties
Property	Description
`Type`	The type is always `Notation`.
`Name`	The name you specify for the notation.
`Public ID`	Unique string that refers to the physical location of the external data, for example, `MyCompany//LOGO//JPEG`.
`System ID`	URL used to physically locate the external data, for example, `http://www.mycompany.com/mylogo.jpg`.
