Query Output
Query Output
To display the
Query Output window, execute a query from the XML editor. You can do this in any tab of the XML editor. If the
Query Output window is not visible, select
View >
Query Output from the Stylus Studio menu bar.
In the
Query Output window, Stylus Studio displays the number of hits, and a tree that represents the returned nodes and their values. When you click on a returned node, Stylus Studio moves the cursor in the XML document to the source node for the returned node.
You can execute multiple queries, and the
Query Output window displays a tab for each set of results. At the bottom of the
Query Output window, click the tab for the results you want to view.
Fields
Save Result allows you to save the results of a query in a file. It displays the
Save As dialog box.
