I asked this question on an xforms list:

However, there were no replies to the list.
OTOH, I got some personal emails from an adobe
person saying he knew of no such translator.

Does anyone reading this list know of any such
translator?  I've looked at:

which some hints about how to do it, but I'd rather
not "reinvent the wheel" if somebody has already done
it ;)
