Subject: Test Cases for XSLT support in browsers

Hi there,

I have started a totally subjective list of tests at

http://greenbytes.de/tech/tc/xslt/

...mainly motivated by my work on rfc2629.xslt (<http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/rfc2629xslt/rfc2629xslt.html>).

The following findings might be of general interest:

1) <http://greenbytes.de/tech/tc/xslt/#pi-ax-ax>

Both IE 9 and Firefox 7 support the proper media type for XSLT when specified in the processing instruction.

2) <http://greenbytes.de/tech/tc/xslt/#src-ws>

IE 9 seems to have fixed the "ignorable whitespace" problem. (oh joy!)

3) <http://greenbytes.de/tech/tc/xslt/#ft-system-property-unknown>

Safari and Chrome still suffer from a rather serious bug in libxslt (reported almost a year ago).

Best regards, Julian
