How can I get rid of that empty namespace ?!
Move the XHTML namespace declaration to the xsl:stylesheet
<xsl:stylesheet
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
version="2.0">
...
</xsl:stylesheet>
that way it applies to all literal result elements in all templates.
