Hi,

A big thank you to both Michael Kay and Chris von See. I had been so pig-headedly set on targeting those darned nodes that I didn't even think of first removing the <p>s and <sp>s that were causing all the trouble. Sigh.

Thanks to your (extremely rapid!) intervention, all is now well.
