Hi Kai,
The following classes can be used to represent a node set
org.w3c.dom.traversal.NodeIterator
org.apache.xml.dtm.DTM
org.apache.xml.dtm.DTMAxisIterator
org.apache.xml.dtm.DTMIterator
org.w3c.dom.Node
and org.w3c.dom.DocumentFragment can be used to represent a result-tree
fragment.
I would think that the NodeIterator and Node interfaces could be used for
both to return nodes from the input document and to return newly created
nodes.
You can take a look at this URL <
http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/extensions.html> for some examples and more
information.
