Oops! Thanks, you are right. I have to update my stylesheets (but, now that I look at them, I see I declared it, but never used it).

I have declared it correctly and changed the verson of the stylesheet to "2.0" but still get the error

Command line is: java -jar saxon.jar a.xml x.xsl >c.xml Error:The URI http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions does not identify an external Java class
