Can you tell me how to generate the elements in no namespace ie, I donot
want  xmlns=""  to appear in the element definition in the output xml file.

If you already have a default namespace and you
generate elements in no namespace then you are
obliged to have xmlns="" in the document or your
unprefixed elements will continue to be in the default namespace.

If you do not have a default namespace and you
generate elements in no namespace then XSLT will
not include xmlns="" in the document.
