The only problem that I now have is that I get all the node inside
  <textItem> in the opposite order.

Nothing in the code you posted will change the order of any nodes.

Also you probably don't want version="2.0" at the top (my mistake,
sorry cut and paste error from an xslt2 stylesheet).

Post a small input document matching that stylesheet and show what
output you get (and say which processor you have)
