I wonder whether it is possible to match a xsl:template.

   <xsl-transform>
     <xsl:apply-templates select="xsl:template"/>
   </xsl-transform>
 </xsl:template>

 <xsl:template match="xsl:template">
   <reached/>
 </xsl:template>

Yes, in the source document, if you are processing a styleshhet for instance. What exactly are you tring to achieve?
