If I am in item with ref="RESOURCE2", how can I relatively select the
parents following sibling (item with REFERENCE3). My xml document looks
as follows:

<item ref="RESOURCE1">
</item>
  <item ref="RESOURCE2"
  </item>
<item ref="RESOURCE3">
  <item ref="RESOURCE4">
  </item>
</item>

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
