Bill,

You have a tiny but nasty typo.

In your source metadata file:

<metadata
  xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">

In your stylesheet:

<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
version="1.0"
xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1">

Notice the small but significant trailing slash in the first declaration for xmlns:dc.

You can also remove the for-each from the template matching "metadata": it doesn't do anything.

Cheers,
Wendell
