Subject: A way to use Single quote or double quote in XML and/or output it into HTML & FO without resorting to CDATA in the XML?

Currently I have compromised the above data into -
<Section SectionHeading="Whats New"> and am using the following match.
<xsl:template match="Section[@SectionHeading='Whats New']">
What can I do to maintain that quote in the content and still be able to
do the template match?
I tried using "e; etc. but apparently I was unable to use it and to
get the XSLs to run I just went around the issue.
