Thanks - spot on.
I didn't have matching namespaces in both the xsl and xml documents.
Doh ..

It works fine for me now.

A big lesson tonight - be more careful so as not to waste other's time.
It's been a long day. Too many hours in front of the screen.
Now I can retire with peace of mind.
