And here is my XSL:
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
<xsl:template match="employee">
<i><xsl:value-of select="."/></i>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="para">
<b><xsl:value-of select="."/></b>
</xsl:template>
Use <xsl:apply-templates/> instead of <xsl:value-of .../>
It tells the processor to apply templates recursively to
the nodes within the matched element rather than just
getting the string value.
