I have two tables in my xsl-region-body. I was planning on using apply-templates/template to populate these tables. The problem I have is directing a table-cell to one table or the other. If you are in a position to selectively push the nodes you need, then you need only do: <xsl:apply-templates select="method-version"/> when creating your first table and <xsl:apply-templates select="attribute"/> when creating your second table. If you are, rather, pushing all of the candidate nodes at the same time, then you need to use modes and suppress the nodes you don't want processed, as in: <xsl:apply-templates mode="first-table"/>

<xsl:apply-templates mode="second-table"/>
...
<xsl:template match="method-version" mode="first-table">
...
<xsl:template match="method-version" mode="second-table"/>
...
<xsl:template match="attribute" mode="first-table"/>
...
<xsl:template match="attribute" mode="second-table">Note the empty templates in the above selection: these suppress the processing of a given node by specifying that nothing is to be added to the result tree for the handling of the node. I hope this helps. .................... Ken
