I'm not clear exactly what you want to do... If your PHP documents are
in fact well-formed XML documents, then you can transform them just like
any other XML document.


Exactly, but.. the transformation won't execute any of the PHP functions, classes, and variables....unless the XSLT processor (i use Saxon), somehow uses the php.exe to do it before spitting out the result tree. Does that clear it up better?
