No, you are almost certainly falling foul of a documented restriction. I
warned you that saxon:preview was full of restrictions - please read the
spec more carefully, and study the examples that come with the product.
If you still have problems, ask on the saxon-help list at
www.sourceforge.net, since this is very product-specific.
