hi Curtis; thanks for your reply, however, it doesn't seems to work, unless it uses <xsl:output method="text"/> however, this in terms clears all the tag within the document, therefore it is not workable solution, but thanks for your suggestions

Instead of entity

use &#10; in your stylesheet which will expand

to

in the excelXML and will be interpreted as your line-break.
