yes it is possible to embed javascript
simplest example using alert is as follows

<?xml version="1.0"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:template match="/">  <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"> <![CDATA[ <script> alert("hello") </script> ]]> </xsl:text>   ...... </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet>

I was wondering if it is possible to embed a javacript into an XSL?  I
just want to pull in the current date and time.
