I have an xsl which contains nested for-each's,
call-templates, and variables. I've tried several
xslt processors (xalan 2.2.0, saxon, msxml) which
work fine, but using xalan 2.3.1 xsl:variables are
overwritten during page processing.

I was wondering if others have experienced problems
with this processor. Bug 7118 seems to describe this
most closely. Until a new version comes out, I'll 
keep using xalan 2.2.0.
