Hi all,

I need to output a number for the first occurance of node <para> within any
<step>. For example:

<step1>
  <para>here</para>
  <step2>
    <specpara>
      <para>here</para>
    </specpara>
    <para>not here</para>
  </step2>
  <para>not here</para>
</step1>

<para>'s appear either as a child of stepx or within <specpara>'s within the
step.  I need to find the first occurance of <para> within each step.
