Guess it pays to stay on the list, and then to read all the messages :)
OK, I'm not totally clear on this, but getting the idea now. If I use the
following XSL::
<xsl:template match="ComputerShare:ScripCommsMessage"
xmlns:ComputerShare="http://www.computershare.com/scripcomms/v1.0">
<xsl:apply-templates select="SearchForHolderResponse" />
</xsl:template>
Do I need to attach my alias of ComputerShare: to everything. The above
doesn't work. So would the following be needed?
<xsl:template match="ComputerShare:ScripCommsMessage"
xmlns:ComputerShare="http://www.computershare.com/scripcomms/v1.0">
<xsl:apply-templates select="ComputerShare:SearchForHolderResponse" />
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="ComputerShare:SearchForHolderResponse" >
<table cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0">
<xsl:for-each select="ComputerShare:Items/Item">
<xsl:call-template name="GetTableData" />
</xsl:for-each>
</table>
</xsl:template>

Hi Daniel,

Read the mails with the subject
"RE: newbie problem - writing XSL for an XML with namespaces."
send just a few minutes before.
This is exactly the same problem.
Cheers,
Oliver
