Elements can't have * in their names so it would calculate the
numerical value of the first child element of the current node to the
power of 7. It'll be parsed as:
* * (* * (* * (* * (* * (* * *)))))
The odd *s meaning 'child elements' and the even *s being the
multiplication operator. This is one of the beautiful quirks of XPath
:)
