Many thanks to your early time to reply my question about using xpath in key
element.  I am really grateful, especially on weekend.

The explanation of preceding-sibling::abbr[1] used in xsl:key open a
new way for me in using key element in the future.   Yes, it is exactly what
I am asking for.   Thanks again.
