As always, it's best to say which XSLT processor you're using when
describing your problem. I'm guessing that, because you mention ASP and your
xsl:message isn't showing up, that you're using IE. See
http://www.vbxml.com/xsl/XSLTRef.asp for a good reference to which XSLT
features are supported by which versions of msxml*.dll. According to this
chart, msxml3.dll does support it, but the last time I tried it didn't work.
I just tried it with Mozilla 0.91, and nothing happened, so I assume that it
doesn't work in Netscape 6.1 either.
