Another problem (unrelated to the issue with the select element), is
that the <OPTION> tags need to be closed in order for the stylesheet to
be valid XML.

You must supply the value of an attribute in xml. Try
<SELECT NAME="Bathroom colors" SIZE="5" MULTIPLE='true'>
