hi THomas,
I am just checking it against the stylesheet parameter which
i pass here $searchList is a stylesheet parameter which has all the required
id's and then i check if any of the BCID's match with the
search list and if it is presennt i copy it but my condition does not work.

Your expression
concat(normalize-space(SC/@BCID), ',')
adds a comma at the end of the normalized string, so naturally "23" isn't
found. "23," would have been found.
