Too bad, your question is off-topic for the list. If we start diagnosing XML Schema problems here none of us will ever see the light of day.

Your schema is erroneous but I don't have the time to look into it now. I'd pull down a tutorial, or perhaps ask on XML-L (for lack of a better list to post to with schema questions). Find XML-L at http://listserv.heanet.ie/xml-l.html.
