Anyone know where I can get on an XML list?

I'm using MSXML2.DOMDocument object and errors on the "load" function.  Internet Explorer says there are no errors within the XML file.
With Microsoft.com down, I can't access their KB.

My Error is:
-1072896760, An invalid character was found in text content. 

Where can I find what is valid and what isn't?
