you can simply check by using <xsl:if test="NodeA">
the test will result true as long as the node-set returned by the test
expression is not empty.

I use <xsl:if test="false=not(NodeA)"></xsl:if> to test whether there is
a NodeA or not, but I don't really like the "false=not(...)" expression.
Is there any better way instead?
