Hello,
My (limited, I'm no expert) understanding is that XPath (XML Path Language) is the language used in select and test XSLT attribute values. I think of it like SQL, but that is a gross simplification. It lets you traipse through the parsed tree of your XML. In any case, it is a W3C standard, which you can refer to at http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath.
Thanks,
Brian Young

Hi, All...
I have been asked, "What is XPath? Is this a W3C standard or product
name?". I did not
have a concrete reply on the tip of my tongue. Can anyone, here, help me out
with
this?
Thank you,
Eric
